Finding An Anchor

16×20 on streched canvas. Frame included.
My goal for this piece was to get expressive and change the subject to something more relatable with color, texture, and movement while moving through emotion.
I guess when you find yourself in the midst of a big life change, you paint. You paint your tears, your fears, your self-reflection, your confusion, and pure honesty. There’s no other way.
The painting represents my fierce yet vulnerable attempt to hold on to life, faith, and strength within myself to move past the hurt, grief, and regret. While chaos might be pouring down and all around, I hold tight while slowly letting go, allowing it to become part of a new me, a new way forward.
Includes Frame and is ready to hang
